Clifton Beach is the perfect escape for those seeking to be away from the rush and hurry of modern living, but with all of the amenities we expect just on our doorstep.

Our central location makes for a perfect holiday destination, with easy access to local attractions, nearby beach villages with their wide range of local restaurants, beachside bars, cafes, health spas and boutique shopping.

The tropical surroundings of Clifton Beach is just a 25 minute drive from Cairns City and a 20 minute drive from Cairns International Airport.

You can choose to spend your days exploring the Great Barrier Reef with diving and snorkelling for the adventurous or simply indulge in a full day of relaxation on a sailing trip to the islands as well as visiting many of the coral cays.

A short drive north from Clifton Beach takes you Port Douglas along a scenic coastal drive, then traveling further north you can experience the wild rainforest of the Daintree with all its local inhabitants such as the salt water crocodiles.

Take a cruise along the Daintree River or cross using the Daintree ferry where you can then travel on through the wilderness to Cape Tribulation.

Vehicle hire makes it possible to discover the wonders and beauty of the Cairns Highlands which will take you through the complex scenery change of the mountain rainforests to the savanna regions further away from the coast.

Once over the mountain range you will find Kuranda which is a quiet rainforest village with local markets. Kuranda is also accessible via Skyrail Rainforest Cableway or the Kuranda Tourist Train through the pristine wilderness of the Kuranda Range.

The completion of the newly built Clifton Beach Shopping Centre adds to the convenience of the area. The shopping complex consists of retail outlets for such amenities as groceries, chemist, coffee shop, bottle shop, bakery, newsagent and situated adjacent to to the complex is a service station which also caters for all fishing and fuel needs.
