Mappa e indicazioni stradali

Indicazioni Stradali

Da Lat City is accessible by road and by air. There is an international airport (with flights to China and Russia - or connections via HCMC or Ha Noi). Taxis from the airport to the town range between 200-250,000 (fixed rate - no meter). On the meter it can cost upwards of 400,000. There is also a mini-bus which is around 50,000/person.

There are two major bus companies that operate routes to Da Lat: FUTA (aka Phuong Trang) and Thanh Buoi and tickets can be purchased directly from the company office or over the phone (as of November 2017 HCMC -> Da Lat = 210,000). These companies also offer a free shuttle service from the bus station to your hotel.a Both of these companies have sleeper buses for long journeys.

** Brew and Breakfast top tip**
If you are tall or require leg room the top back seats have the most, although you'll have a bumpier journey as you are above the rear wheels. If you're lucky you'll get the entire back row to yourself and can spread out.

For a 'luxury' experience there are VIP Limos - which are basically minibuses with nice seats. They are 50% more expensive than the bus but can offer a more pleasant journey - especially if you have special requirements.

Finally, theres 2 wheels. Whether by push bike or motorcycle, many younger travellers chose to buy a bike and drive themselves around. The road into Da Lat from HCMC is quite well maintained although busy - especially at peak season or on the weekend and the road out to Nha Trang is one of the nicest drives around.
